"I was happy to see this black Tokyo Marui Python spring pistol in stock. It really looks like the real thing, including the Colt markings. But of course the feel is so light because it is made mostly of polymer. It was cleanly modeled, and looked very good.

However, when I cocked it to try it for the first time, I found out that the effort required to cock it was very strong. And it had a very heavy trigger pull to match! I would estimate that to be about 15# or so, and the worst I've ever encountered.

I hope this was just a one-off, and something that missed quality control for practical functioning. Though maybe not, considering the price and even Evike's disclaimer about low priced guns ($55 and under) and warranties not being expressed or implied on them.

So if you want to just put it on display and look at it, or use it for a prop, it would surely suit from the accurate detail and workmanship on the externals. If you want to shoot it, I wish you better luck than I had, unless you are King Kong. I returned mine.
