"Bought this as a gift for my brother cause we love to go but he sold his old rifle(it was a gen 4 Noveske that was supposed to shoot 350 fps, shot around 220, we arent big airsoft techs so he sold it) , so he was borrowing my Avalon, but then I moved. So I got him this as a Christmas gift, now we both have our own setups so he can play whenever and so that we can run our own setups. He loves this thing, he has it set up the way he wants it, hes got a T1 red dot, 8 mags, 2 batteries, he can play whenever he feels like it, before I gave it to him i made sure this thing worked, trigger is a standard krytac trigger, you get phenomenal snappy trigger response, accuracy is great, full auto is great, shoots the fps its suppose to, i got him the 330-350 fps for indoors, shot right on the money, all around best thing I bought for outta the box performance. Would def buy again.

"Probably the best available bang for your buck. Shoots good right out the box but after a quick easy adjust to the hop it's quite accurate at medium range(50-150ft).
Although I am planning on upgrading to a tighter inner bore and I'm sure it's gonna shoot like a frickin lazer.

It's heavy and feels super solid in your hands, while not being cumbersome.
I play mostly close quarters games and I have no issue maneuvering tight spaces and off hand shooting.
Everything is constructed super well and has no rattle anywhere except the usual slight mag rattle.

Ive played a handful of games and put about 5000 rounds through it and haven't had any jams or issues at all.

The only downside I have to talk about are the extra mags that came in the upgraded package I ordered. They feed but occasionally cause a bb to just drop out the front of the barrel at like 50fps.
You're better off just getting the rifle and then ordering additional Krytac m4 mid cap mags.
I've got 5 of them and they all run perfectly with the rifle.

All in all it's a great Rifle and worth the money! I've never owned any other krytacs so this is my first experience with them and I am impressed!

"Hi Everybody. I purchased the SBR in Tungsten. I purchased the Siege package with the Prometheus barrel pre-installed. I have created an in-depth technical review of this gun and uploaded it to YouTube if you're interested: https://youtu.be/L97NgVvilyc

Pros: very solid build, very consistent velocity and rate of fire straight out of the box, snappy trigger response, aesthetics are off the charts as the Barrett logo is machine engraved and American flag laser etched into the awesome handguard, coating is very hard and durable, battery compartment in the stock fits larger diameter nunchuck batteries (Titan Power 3,000 mAh battery fits no problem), Dean's battery connection, 14mm CCW outer barrel threading will fit most mock suppressors, comes with a metallic flash hider you can use to replace the orange flash hider it comes installed with.

Cons: safety is hard to actuate if you're left handed, accuracy is not the greatest at longer distances even with the Siege package purchased, hop-up is difficult to adjust even after hop-up is broken in with 4,000 to 5,000 rounds fired.

Contents Received with Gun: 1X Black Krytac Mid-Cap Magazine, 1X Metallic Flash Hider with Unique Barrett Styling and Logo, 1X Metallic/Plastic Flip-Up Front Sight, 1X Metallic/Plastic Flip-Up Rear Sight, Deans to Tamiya Battery Connection Adapter, Cleaning Rod, 1X Detailed Manual, 1X Krytac Sticker and Various Documentation

"I am very happy with my REC7 and I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in getting one. However, if you do you should consider getting an aftermarket inner barrel to increase accuracy. The barrel that comes pre installed is unfortunately nothing to brag about as it will give you mediocre performance and accuracy, Which is very dissappointing considering the price tag that is attached to the REC7.

Another thing I am dissapointed with is that I did not recive the Barrett REC7 muzzle break with my order. I'm honestly a little angry about it, however, it could have just been a mistake that it wasn't included with the packaging.

Okay, now that I got the negatives out of the way here is what I like about it. The REC7 is very sturdy and can take a beating thanks to its full metal frame. It will not easily break on you. The internals are solid and can eaily take a stronger spring to give you more FPS. I love the quick spring change system and how it gives me the ability to swtich out the springs without having to take apart the entire gearbox. With an inner barrel upgrade and a higher FPS the REC7 is an absolute monster on the field, I've been able to hit incredible shots consistently with my REC7. If set up correctly you can easily hit shots past 215 feet.

The reason it is getting 3 stars from me is because of the price being a little high, the missing muzzle break, and the inner barrell that comes stock with the rifle. I wouldn't complain about the price if a better inner barrel came standard.

"I got this rifle during the August 5th Heat Wave deal for $200 on the mystery box.
I will say this rifle is solid. It feels all put together, pulling the charging handle back, the bolt release, the safety selectors...It all feels great and tight.
When I got this I looked at it and noticed the Barret stamps all over the rifle making an authentic nice look to it.
It came with really nice iron sights and also came with a black flash hider. It took me forever to find a tiny allen key to fit the flash hider hole thing you have to take out.
It doesn't shoot too far, and the hop up is a little difficult to quickly adjust. The hop up is tight but overall thats what I would rather have than to have a loosely put together unit, but the distance is an issue. I was shooting about 40 yards on full hop up and had to aim up a little bit.
I would definitely recommend a shorter handguard for the distance it can shoot. I would rather have a shorter handguard using it for cqb, not something that can shoot too far. I would recommend the smaller handguards.
But the quality and time spent into this gun is why it gets a three star. If you have 400 dollars to spend, i suggest taking a peek at this but look at some other guns too.
