"looks good but it randomly stops firing and wont fire again until you disconnect and reconnect the battery, or put it on safety for 10 - 20 seconds. I'm assuming it just cant take 11.1v lipos without internal modifications.

"8/10 great build quality and looks amazing. i’ve had no issues with the gun although the stock it comes with has limited space and the buffer tube won’t take other stocks i would’ve assumed emg buffer tubes would easily take emg stocks but not this one. the outer barrel is a little to short and you cannot put a suppressor on without a extension. if you use titan batteries they will not fit unless you change buffer tube and stock and then use a butterfly battery. other than this the gun is amazing and i would recommend to anyone.

"Not bad it would be a 5 star but when every I full auto my gun fires a 7 round burst and then won’t fire unless I put it on safety for 15-20 seconds but otherwise is a perfect gun with a solid structure

"Quite frankly I'm disappointed with this gun. It has a mosfet, but it doesn't seem to hold up to the standards of my other CYMA Platinums. It broke within one day when I had it using 11.1 lipos, which have worked fine previously in my other stock CYMA platinum DDMK18. Basically it fried the mosfet in this gun, but not my others? Other people here seem to have issues with mosfets and 11.1s. I ended up returning the first one for a new one after it would no longer function.
When it would shoot it was pretty average. It is a CYMA platinum afterall. It might be worthwhile to upgrade the bucking and nub, but that goes for all guns.
External quality is EMG standard, very sturdy. Paint will scratch off of this thing though, but that is to be expected. I really do hate the stock for one particular reason, the buttplate is plastic! It slips really, really bad in my shoulder. If the buttplate had rubber on it, it would be much better. The grip actually has rubber and parts of the stock do too, except not on your shoulder? Orange birdcage is pinned and glued on.
Also one important thing to note, somewhat of a con, is that it doesn't have a QBS (quick change spring) like most other CYMA platinums. I didn't realize that when I bought it, but then again it wasn't advertised with one.
I am outside the return window for the replacement gun so I will just end up putting a Perun V2 and some other mods to get this thing able to take 11.1s.
Honestly, you should stay away from this one unless you want to add at least 100 dollars extra for some mods. I would expect CYMA platinums to be usable out of the box like previous models.
For now, this gun just sits. I have no desire to use it in its stock state.
